The API
What can the API calculate?
307 capabilities across 23 families: Vedic charts and divisional charts, strengths, dashas, panchang, festivals and muhurta, matching, doshas and yogas, predictions, KP, Jaimini, Lal Kitab, BNN, Tajika, Western, Tarot, numerology, remedies, reports, location astrology, Vastu, mundane and AI readings. How are positions calculated?
With Swiss Ephemeris, under a professional licence, using the ayanamsha, house system and node you choose where a capability offers them. The defaults are Lahiri and the true (osculating) node, and responses echo the settings used where they apply.
Which languages are supported?
AI readings (4 capabilities) can be written in 26 languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Urdu, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, Punjabi, Assamese and major international languages. The text is written by a language model and has not been reviewed by native speakers. Calculations and reports return English: those names are identifiers in our responses. Add labels (for example "labels": "ta") to any request to get the signs, planets, nakshatras, tithis and other terms in 13 Indian languages alongside the English. The languages page lists every capability's languages. Field names and values never change with language.
What does Beta mean?
A beta capability works and is supported, but its output format or method may still change. Beta items are labelled in the catalogue and documentation, and changes are announced in the changelog.
Keys and security
Can I call the API from a mobile app or browser?
Not directly. Keys must stay on your server; anything shipped to a device can be extracted. Have your app call your backend, and your backend call us.
What happens if a key leaks?
Revoke it in the dashboard. Revocation takes effect immediately; then rotate to a new key.
Data and privacy
Do you store the birth details we send?
Request bodies are not stored in usage logs; responses kept for idempotent replay are deleted after 24 hours. Calculation results may be cached for up to 15 minutes, keyed by the calculation input alone; the cache holds no account data. Report PDFs are private, served through expiring links, and deleted after 7 days.
Can we sign a data-processing agreement?
