Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated · version 1

Draft. This document describes how the service is designed to work and is under legal review. The final version will be published before paid plans open.

Account data

Your name, email, company, billing address and GSTIN, used to run your account, issue invoices and contact you about the service.

Request data

  • Requests can contain birth details. We process them only to compute your result.
  • Usage logs record the capability, status, timing and request ID, not the request body.
  • If you send an idempotency key, the response is kept so a retry can be replayed, and deleted after 24 hours.
  • Calculation results may be cached for up to 15 minutes, keyed by the calculation input alone; the cache holds no account data.
  • Report PDFs are private, available through expiring links, and deleted after 7 days.

Your rights

To get a copy of your account data, or to have it deleted, ask us at support@96astro.com. Some billing records must be kept for the period tax law requires.

Cookies

The website uses only the cookies needed to sign you in and remember your preferences. If analytics are switched on, the site asks for your consent first and loads them only after you accept.

Marketing attribution and advertising

  • A first-party cookie (astro_attr, 90 days) remembers how you first reached the site and your latest campaign visit (the campaign tags in the link, the referring site and the landing page), so a signup can be credited to the channel that produced it. It holds no identifier of you, stays on our site and is not shared.
  • Advertising pixels (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads) and ad click identifiers (gclid, fbclid, msclkid) are used only after you accept marketing cookies. They report a signup, a first live API call or a first payment once, so we can measure our advertising. If we also send these events from our servers, it is only for visitors who accepted, and your email is sent only as a one-way hash.
  • The contact-sales form keeps what you enter, the page you came from and a one-way hash of your network address (to stop abuse), and uses them only to answer your enquiry.
